Artwork : Job Layouts

When supplying your artwork "press ready" for plate making all artwork needs to be set to accommodate the number of formats printed at one time on our label press and for the number of colours to be printed on the label layout.

We have included some example layouts below in downloadable Adobe Acrobat PDF files.  You must supply the composite of your job and if colour separations are required the required layout to produce multiple colours.  If you need to learn more about colour separations, please click here.

Single Colour Label Formats
These layout instructions show a simple single colour label layout -

• A composite proof showing label dimensions
• The art plate for actual label making

Composite Proof  This should show how you intend your label format to look. It also shows the dimensions of the job. The label edge should be shown along with any bleeds, crops or dimensions.

Art Plate  This is the file that is forwarded to our plate makers. This file will be used to make the foil printing plate to produce the image on the label format. It should not include the label outline or any crops. Remember— anything on this plate will be printed on the label.

Multiple Colour Label Formats
These layout instructions  show a two colour label layout. 

• A composite proof showing label dimensions
• The art plate for actual label making.
