Artwork : File Types
If you are supplying your own artwork, it will speed up your order
processing if we receive artwork files that we can readily open. This means we
should have the same software that you have generated your artwork or file
in, or be able to import your file into one of our software applications.
The Fastest Way
For smooth transition to print, we highly recommend that you
supply your artwork in either of the following formats:
1. EPS
or AI Files :
WMF format with all fonts to curves
2. Adobe PDF : ensure you
have converted your fonts to curves prior to
exporting. Through years of
handling files electronically across the web,
these are the most fail safe methods and have
proved to be the quickest way for us to prepare
your artwork for printing in any medium.
We experience very few issues with EPS and AI files.
Software application files
We can accept your artwork for conversion in the following
applications.
-
Corel
Draw X3
(and previous versions)
-
Adobe
Illustrator CS3 (and previous
versions)
-
Adobe PDF
Files
Ensure fonts are converted curves (or
outlines) and that any
if any bitmaps are embedded that they
are of suitable resolution for printing
((300 dpi for full colour printing / 600
dpi for foil printing). Colours
should be able to be separated.
